GATITOS Y NOCHE DE PAZ....SILENT NIGHT: Tiempo de Villancicos

La Navidad is "on the air" !
En las calles, en el ambiente, notamos el sabor, el olor, las luces de la navidad acercándonos ya a una fecha en la que cantaremos VILLANCICOS.


Los CHRISTMAS CARROLLS o VILLANCICOS han sido tradicionalmente HIMMNOS religiosos  que se cantaban y / o bailaban en circulos (carrolls) para conmemorar las fechas de celebraciones navideñas.

Hemos empezado por cantar ya en clase uno de los más famosos villancicos de todos los tiempos: NOCHE DE PAZ. Silent Night o Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht en alemán, como fue originalmente escrito en 1818 por el sacerdote austríaco Joseph Mohr y el músico Franz Xaver Gruber, ha sido traducido a más de 300 idiomas e incluso, en tiempos de guerra,  establecida una tregua durante la Guerra Mundial, en 1914, fue cantada por los soldados en inglés y en alemán, al ser la única canción que conocían los dos bandos.
